Attending:

Uthyr, Bob, Tom, Rose, Cat, Sorsha, Orpan, Crystal, Brandon, Taz, Rachel

1. Church Cemetery
1. Tom and Rose have looked at membership requirements so that the cemetery can meet the requirements of a church cemetery. The requested new requirements for membership are
1. Bylaws Draft 200904-24 “A person who agrees with the mission statement of Ozark Avalon and seeks membership. A financial pledge will be requested. May be waived in hardship cases as determined by the Board.”
2. Article IV:
1. “Minimum qualifications for membership are agreement with the Mission statement.”
2. Rose to call the people to have the plots laid out and create a list of grave openers and other services.
3. Price per plot would be 800 to 1600.

 

1. Associate Covens, Circles and Groups
1. They need to be mentioned in the bylaws.
2. They must meet a set of requirements.
3. A committee of Crystal and Uthyr under advisement of Rose will be drafting requirements they will present the information at the harvest meeting.
4. Currently defined as Bylaws Draft 200904-24 “Associated Circles – Covens, circles and other groups that are lead by an Oak Spirit and meets requirements set by the Board.

1. To be officially reduced to two a year.
2. May be called to meet more often as necessary.

 

1. Retreat Kitchen Plans
1. During Inter-Dependence day the kitchen should be stripped.
2. There will be new wall board installed
3. New Standard Windows
4. New Counters
5. Will look at Rolling Carts for storage
6. Dishwasher
1. The idea of an industrial dishwasher has been brought up. Crystal mentioned finding one for a reasonable price at a ware house/ public auction. Bob said that he would fund a specific amount and Crystal is to check it out.
2. The use of an industrial washer could save OA a lot of money on paper plates and plastic utensils.

1. Upcoming event information and needs
1. Proceeds will mostly be used for the repairs on the Kitchen
2. Orpan mentioned a need for a new brush hog within the next wheel turn. He said that he had most of the needed land mowed for Interfuse, but it would be necessary in the near future.
3. Interfuse has 882 people.
4. There are a total of three upcoming Burner Events
5. There is a Sci-Fi Lord of the Rings Event
6. Bob spoke to the neighbor about Noise and the neighbor agreed that since we had talked to her, we won’t have to put her up in a hotel to deal with the noise. It was suggested that we may have to speak to other neighbors as well.
7. Beltane has three paid registrations at this point.
1. Bob is the Lord of the Games
2. A party for Friday night is needed
1. John is willing to do movies – Adult Barn Theater
2. Barn play is expected, but there is no one that has come forward to lead the night.
3. Flyers about the new activities and the lack of BDSM barn activities because of the lace of interest.

Votes:

Current Board Members include: Jetta, Rori, Paul, Tom, Sorsha, John, Cat, Crystal, Rose, Bob, and Brandon.

Rori and Paul have not been to a meeting recently and their terms are up. Jetta has moved out of state and cannot attend the board meetings.

Tom, Sorsha, John, Cat and Brandon’s terms are all up.

1. There was a movement by Bob to re-elect all current board members that were in attendance. Tom, Sorsha, John (by proxy), Cat and Brandon. Orpan seconded. All current attending board members were approved by acclamation.

2. There was a movement by Bob to increase the board members numbers to thirteen and seconded by Tom. This was approved by acclamation.

3. There were appointed two new board members: Uthyr and Rachel. It was discussed to ask Pet and Amber to also be board members. ** Update – Pet has accepted and Amber has refused.

2. There was a motion to keep all current officers the same.  Motions was made by Bob and seconded by Brandon. All current officers still hold there position by acclamation. Sorsha would like some help with the secretarial work.

3. There was a movement to accept all the new amendments by Bob and seconded by Orpan. This movement was passed by acclamation.
